Time to change the background on your phone into this wallpaper I made for August.
Time to change the background image on your mobile phone into this wallpaper I made for June.
Time to start a new illustration project, an ABC of emotions. I choose a random letter and an emotion that starts with this letter. The letter ‘E’ for today seems appropriate.
The book ‘Ballad’ (Een sprookje (nl)) by the French artist Blexbolex feels very compact and tactile in your hands. It is not large in terms of dimensions, but it certainly has volume. The paper of the cover is slightly embossed with ribs and is not laminated (fortunately). No layer of plastic between the reader and the paper.
The work of Camilla Engman, a Swedish illustrator and artist, really touches me. It comprises of a beautiful dichotomy, one that will take effort to understand. You’ll have to keep looking at it, and look at it again to see it.

A sweet little girl standing in front of a pastel coloured background holding a funny black moustache. The contrast of the girl’s innocence and the moustache intrigued me and so I wanted to develop this idea further.
