Hurray, time for a give away

Today it’s been five years that I started my own company. First as a graphic designer and since April as an illustrator and book designer. This calls for a party if you ask me.

Books that surround me… A Fairytale

The book ‘Ballad’ (Een sprookje (nl)) by the French artist Blexbolex feels very compact and tactile in your hands. It is not large in terms of dimensions, but it certainly has volume. The paper of the cover is slightly embossed with ribs and is not laminated (fortunately). No layer of plastic between the reader and the paper.

The new spot

Last May I moved into a new studio. I used to work from home, but now I’ve found a perfect spot in a former nursing home in the centre of town. I’ve been cleaning and painting it and moved in my stuff. It’s great working here; I’ve more space and my focus is even better. Isn’t that a good thing ;)?
